We are thrilled to announce the successful groundbreaking ceremony that took place today, which marks a pivotal moment in the history of our organisation.
Sr. Elizabeth Tan Bee Lean, Franciscan Missionaries of Mary (FMM), Assunta Integrated Social Services (ASSISS) Chairperson, and Head of the Pastoral Care Department, led the ceremony with a heartfelt blessing and prayer for the reconstruction of our beloved building along Jalan Templer here.
The ceremony was witnessed by Mr Christopher Chua, Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Wilson Choo, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Lourdes Dava Raj, Chief Operations Officer, Ms. Kong Chew Yen, Dr Darshinia Ballasingam, Head of Medical Services — ASSISS, Mr. Anson Tan, Head of Marketing and Ms. Maggie Yeow, Head of Human Resources.
This historic has served as the heart of our operations since 2014, providing holistic medical services to the most vulnerable communities in the Klang Valley and East Malaysia. Sr. Elizabeth recalled in her speech the building’s role in our mission, emphasizing its importance in delivering comprehensive healthcare services beyond conventional boundaries.
The decision to rebuild symbolises our commitment to progress and expansion, enabling us to reach greater heights in our quest to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Sr. Elizabeth’s words echoed the spirit of dedication, saying, “It is a testament to our commitment to providing healthcare services that go beyond conventional boundaries.”
